During the construction phase of a project, it is often necessary to check the level of compaction of fill soils and perform concrete testing; tasks sometimes referred to as 'Special Inspections.'

Brazos Geotech uses nuclear density gauges that enables the performance of multiple soil compaction tests in a short time interval.

Field concrete testing is performed by an ACI Grade-I Certified Technician. Tasks normally include slump testing and collection of cylinders for compressive strength tests in our in-house laboratory. We are also able to perform field testing of grout and mortar.

Our field technician is PTI Level I Certified for the performance of residential post-tension slab inspections and is qualified for post-installed (epoxy bolt) anchor inspections.
