Brazos Geotech is able to complete soil reports for residential and commercial projects throughout Arizona.

To collect field data and soil samples, backhoe test pits will usually be excavated or in some cases a drill rig will be used. We have found that subcontracting the excavation services reduces overhead and helps keeps our fees reasonable.

After laboratory testing of selected soil samples in our in-house laboratory, a soil report will be prepared including at minimum, recommendations for pad preparation, soil bearing capacity, and post-tension slab design parameters (if applicable).

Bundling of soil reports with septic designs, compaction testing, and in some cases concrete testing and inspections, may provide a cost savings and improve efficiency.
